But our service does not stop with the perfect design; even more importantly, we take full responsibility for ensuring the event runs completely smoothly for the entire event. Our Story

Brendan began the business himself over 15 years ago, just after he first came to the UK. He arrived over 15 years ago with the same idea that every South African has — work for a year or two in the UK then travel the world. That idea soon changed as he found that with his combination of strong work ethic and sociable nature, the natural step was to start his own company. Realising his lifetime ambition, he began working with a partner supplying discos and disco equipment to local hotels in West London.

He soon knew that he no longer wanted to put all his energy into discos and so decided to part ways with his business partner and create the embryo of the AV Company which you see today.

Brendan’s ideal was, and is still today, to create a company that provides professional equipment and second to none service for clients in the events industry. Brendan rebranded the company in 2009. In his own words: ‘I gave the company my name to show that I am behind my business and what it stands for 100%, and committed to providing every client with the professionalism and dedication I would expect.’

Staying in touch with technology, Brendan realised that AV was an important part of people’s homes and commercial properties so started an installation arm of the business, that today has grown into a very valuable part of the business serving clients in Europe and the UK.

So was born Brendan McCormick Events AV Ltd. Over the years, BME AV has invested extensively in new equipment to make sure we are up to date with technology and our clients’ demands. Our range of equipment includes the latest digital sound desk, array of lighting and DMX equipment, power distribution, top of the range microphones, projection and most recently the addition of camera equipment and an onsite full broadcast editing suit.
